Terms for creators

Before you upload anything, please read and agree to the terms.

Your sounds, pictures and words stay yours; you let this site store them and play them to your walk's listeners.
You're responsible for the rights: only upload what you made, or have permission to use (music, recordings of people, library sounds and pictures — follow their licences).
Nothing illegal, harassing, or that sends listeners somewhere unsafe or private.
Content may be hidden or removed if someone reports that it breaks their rights.

I have read the Terms for creators and agree to them.

Inbox

Reviews and feedback from listeners of your walks. Reviews aren't shown to listeners until you choose what to show: the rating, the comment, both, or nothing. A walk's average rating counts only the ratings you show, and appears once there are 3. Feedback is private: only you (and the site's administrator) see it.

Listening log

Each time someone listens to one of your walks, from Start to Stop: when, their name (or the silly name their phone was given), the sounds they heard and how long they listened.

"Ended" means the sound played to its end, so a looping sound never ends. Disabling lasts for the rest of the walk.

When GPS is up to 25 m off the path, the listener is placed on it. Works even if the line is hidden.

A node with its own Enable if rule keeps that rule instead. Nodes without a sound are skipped.

Guide listeners to the next node

A pulsing halo marks the node to go to — the first to begin with — and moves on as listeners walk through each node. A compass bar across the top of the listener's map shows it as a dot with its distance, sliding as they turn. Listeners can hide the bar (🧭 or ✕); it comes back when the halo moves on. The halo shows whether or not this is ticked.

Heard every few seconds from the way to go (in 3D with headphones), more often as the listener gets close.

Each node is a sound object: click one to set its sound, fades, radius and rules. Drag the dots on the map to move nodes; drag a small dot between two nodes to add one there.
